We are a center for experiential education, rooted in the Gospels, encouraging the transformation of human consciousness through contemplation, and equipping people to be instruments of peaceful change in the world.
Women's Retreat 2011
The first CAC-sponsored women’s spirituality retreat was held September 12-17, 2011 at Synergia Ranch, a beautiful retreat center near Santa Fe, New Mexico. The twenty-two women who attended experienced a deepening of their own journey with the Sacred Feminine, with each other and with the earth. They danced with their shadow, shared their truth, became more acquainted with their own body wisdom and were challenged to work for healing and peace in the world. It was a time of bonding through shared prayer, journaling, conversation and fun.

"The Nature Walk was SO powerful. I'm still resonating with my experiences with Grandmother Spider, and the horned lizard and the ants. It turned into a Praise Walk, and almost immediately the phrase came: "Praise Be" and turned quickly into "Praise Bee" "Praise Thee" "Praise Tree" "Praise Ye." So.. all the contemplative practices were helpful, but the Nature Walk was in a class by itself."
"I found this time with my sisters, facilitators and myself life changing... I see myself implanting new habits directly related to my time at the Ranch and with my sisters. I believe that experiential learning touches our souls and our hearts. I am a mind person and for me to supplement my thinking with my soul and heart was extraordinary."

"This [sending] and the anointing exercise was extraordinarily holy. Our emotions were raw and we were on a high from all of the prior work and WE HAD GOD RIGHT THERE WITH US. I could see God in the eyes of each of my sisters when I went around the circle. The anointing for me was an occasion of the Holy Spirit speaking through me. The words that I used to bless my sister weren't my words but those given to me to offer to her."
