Application Process

Length of Stay

Work interns may apply for the following terms:

• Fall through Spring unit (September-May)
• Fall through Summer unit (September-August)
• Summer unit (June-August)

Application Process

Anyone interested in a work internship at the CAC must submit a completed application packet by the application deadline. This includes: general application, skill set survey, resume, spiritual autobiography, and professional and personal recommendations. After your packet has been reviewed, a phone interview may be scheduled, if needed. A second phone interview may also be required.

Period of Discernment

While the application process is designed to identify applicants who will fit well with the work internship program, we have found that a brief period of discernment at the beginning of a work internship gives both the work intern and the CAC an opportunity to review together the mutual fit.

Discernment will also occur between the Center and the work intern regarding the skills and experience he/she brings and how those skills best support the needs of the Center.
