Jeff Roybal Joins CAC as Controller
CAC Executive Director, Alicia Johnson, welcomes the first CAC Controller, Jeff Roybal, to the organization. Proficient in small enterprises, including publishing, Jeff has additional "best practices" expertise from a larger organizational background.
Director Johnson finds Jeff to be a perfect match for CAC's size and complexity as it moves forward in its fiduciary responsibilities to provide a sustainable CAC for the future as it continues to bring Fr. Richard's work to people around the world.
"We are fortunate, indeed, to add Jeff to our team of exceptional CAC employees. Jeff is an excellent person all around to bring additional financial stewardship to our mission," said Alicia.
Jeff is a native of New Mexico who holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from New Mexico State University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. His work experience includes financial and budget analysis with James River Corporation and University of New Mexico Hospital, respectively, and he has served as Assistant Controller with Crown Paper (California) and Controller with Windsor Foods (New Mexico). He most recently served as Chief Financial Officer for ABC Coding Solutions in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Jeff reports to the Executive Director of the CAC and is a member of the Leadership Team, which includes Matt Sholler, Vanessa Guerin, Eloise Williamson, Paul Swanson, Cece Shantzek, Shirin McArthur and Cory Lee.
The CAC Executive Director, who is sole employee of the CAC Board of Directors, and the Controller will meet monthly with the Board of Directors' Finance Committee, whose membership includes the Board Treasurer, Mark Cavanaugh.
