Become a Conference Sponsor
Dear Friend,
We would like to extend to you a special invitation to sponsor
Politics and Spirituality, a national conference of Sojourners and
the Center for Action and Contemplation to be held in Pasadena,
California on September 8–10, 2006. The conference will feature
three dynamic and internationally renowned speakers—Jim Wallis,
Anne Lamott, and Richard Rohr—and will engage the critical
and timely question of how to connect our inner faith
with our outer witness to the world. Earlier this year,
we hosted our kick-off Politics and Spirituality
conference in Washington DC; there was such an overwhelming response
that we sold out in only three weeks and had to create a simulcast
room to accommodate the swell of nearly 2,000 people. In September,
we have secured a larger venue and are offering new opportunities
for interaction such as workshops and networking circles. We anticipate
drawing close to 3,000 national and international people hungering
for an alternative vision for faith and public life.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Please contact Larisa Friesen at (202) 745-4638 or lfriesen@sojo.net
to discuss sponsorship opportunities.

The Center for Action and Contemplation,
located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, was founded in 1987 by Franciscan
Father Richard Rohr. Father Rohr saw the need for a training/formation
center that would allow spiritually seeking people to integrate a contemplative
lifestyle and compassionate service. The CAC attracts peole from around
the world who seek peaceful, positive alternatives and solutions to the
difficult challenges of our often materialistic, irrational and violent
world. The center offeres different programs and resources which you can
